I absolutely love this Paper Artsy Jofy stamp so when a tag swap was arranged on Facebook, I wanted to use it.
First I painted the tag with two different shades of yellow - you can't see the colours in the picture but its a nice effect to have one yellow brushed over the other in places. I then stamp the Jofy stamp onto the tag. I know I wanted a selection of colours so I stamped it again onto white paper so I could colour and cut out the baubles. Note - it's soooo much easier to use a stamping platform for this as it means you can stamp, paint and then stamp again, it saves being too careful when you're painting as if you go over the outlines, the re-stamping puts them back!
I fussy cut all the elements out and glued them on - I love the way they pop on the tag. I felt something was missing so I then used my Posca pens in similar colours to highlight the 'strings' of the baubles. To finish, I found some coordinating ribbon. Looking forward to this tag going to the recipient - I love receiving swaps in the post and seeing what other artists do. To join the swaps, visit our Facebook group UK Stampers Forum.
