I'm really lucky to be part of the design team for a Facebook group called The Joy of Sets. Each month we have a new challenge on our blog based on a tic tac toe board. For this month's entry, I've used silver, birthday and ribbon.
Here's my entry!
For this card, I've used my absolute favourite brand, Stamps by Chloe. I got my inspiration from Chloe's project books which come with her box kits.
I stamped all the flowers onto heat resistant acetate using Versamark ink, then heat embossed with Wow's Silver Dollar embossing powder. I then turned to the reverse of the acetate and "coloured" the flowers in with Cosmic Shimmer glue before adding 3 colours of Chloe's Sparklicious glitters.
I've then cut a frame using the awesome stitched square dies by Sue Wilson, before cutting a tag shape on my Scan N Cut and heat embossing the sentiment in the same Silver Dollar Wow powder. I raised the frame up off the card to give some dimension then raised the tag from the front of the card. Finally I added a silver double bow using some ribbon from my enormous ribbon stash! I cheat and use a bow maker to do my bows...!!
I hope you like the card! To see what our other fabulous design team members have done, visit the Joy of Sets Challenge Blog here
